Late morning through early evening gives the most flexibility for food, heritage and waterfront walking. Wind can make the riverfront feel cooler than central Richmond. Summer weekends are busier, while shoulder seasons can be quieter but have shorter attraction hours.
Getting there and parking
Steveston is not on the Canada Line. Bus connections serve the village, while drivers should expect greater parking pressure on sunny weekends and festival days. Once parked, walking between the village, Cannery, Imperial Landing and Garry Point is usually more sensible than moving the vehicle repeatedly.
